How do I make a natural spray to keep my dog smelling fresh?
With the humidity, rain etc. my dog can get smelly, even just after giving him a bath. Is there a natural mixture i can gently spray on him that is safe, won’t bug him and will help him smell less?
He’s perfectly healthy and the stuff at petsmart has dyes and chemicals in it. gross!
Check out your natural food stores. They usually carry different oils–all sorts. If you have a store that’s decent, they’ll have someone on staff who knows how to mix sprays. I’m sure that you can find something there–aromatherapy for your pooch’s coat. Go with a lighter smell. The other person who mentioned lemon is on the right track. It would a good base scent.
